19 Apr Sun, Sand & Sea! Memories of a Beach CAMP
Under the Siloso sky on Sentosa, campers engaged in a series of thrilling activities amidst the backdrop of white sand, coconut trees and azure sea.
By fusing beach activities & focused team-based methodologies, the students applied themselves, had fun, reflected and learnt. Out of their classrooms and comfort zone, they overcame challenges, built bonds and enjoyed a new experience that many commented might be their first and last time ever. Even the teachers got involved, a unique opportunity for the class and their teachers to bond. As the Sun retired on the penultimate CAMPfire evening, the students came together to collaborate and perform, a culmination of friendship, talent, fun & camaraderie!
The CAMPfire was the highlight of the CAMP, a medley of emotion and energy. The sun now hiding behind the horizon, the music and bonfire peaking to a crescendo as students performed; cue song, dance & cheering! As the fire simmered slowly into the night, the students emotional from the bittersweet realisation that this once-in-a-lifetime experience was fast coming to an end…and chants of “encore, encore” reverberated under the pavilion, now graced by the starlit sky.
The CAMP Adventure by the Beach was more than just an adventure; it was a journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and appreciation for nature. From meaningful activities to heartfelt moments around the CAMPfire, every experience deepened bonds and enriched perspectives. As students departed, they carried with them memories and lessons that will continue to inspire and resonate as they move forward in their lives.
